ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST Job at Attentive Care of Albany

Attentive Care is a well-established, privately owned and operated, licensed home healthcare agency. We have been servicing the Capital District and Saratoga areas for over 40 years, and are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team! This is a full-time opportunity in our Colonie office, however we work remotely at times. Duties include, but are not limited to: Financial record keeping and reporting; maintenance of General Ledger through DacEasy; interaction with funding sources; cash management; and assistance with the preparation of budgets. Monthly and annual financial statements, cost reports, consolidations, and fiscal year-end audit preparation processes. Other relevant experience includes ADP payroll processing and Excel spreadsheets and graphing.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred. Home Care and Medicaid accounting, billing and cost reporting experience a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills; organizational skills and computer skills, experience with HHAeXchange desired.
