Accounts Payable Clerk Job at Crain Ranch
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, code and enter account payable in accounting system.
- Process accounts payable check runs.
- Handle vendor related inquires
- File credit applications with new vendors.
- W9 requests
- Assist in Prepare Vendor payables reports for monthly management meeting.
- Assist Front reception duties / answering phones.
- Coordinate fuel quotes and deliveries.
- Maintain fuel records for yearly fuel tax reporting
- Manage DMV for all vehicles.
- Data entry that is consistent, accurate, and timely
- Maintain Company files always organized and accessible
- Work collaboratively and promote a team environment
- Support and promote safety and health of all employees
- Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality, and a conscientious attitude always
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year accounting experience-including the use of accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and strong math skills
- Self-starter who works effectively alone and as part of a team
- Ability to monitor and double check work for accuracy and quality
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel with ability to create/maintain Excel workbooks
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated, dependable, and organized, with willingness to take on increasing responsibilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
