Accounts Payable Specialist Job at C. Harper Auto Group
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team!
We are looking for someone who can manage daily financial transactions end to end, ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the entire process, and provide exceptional attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Purchase Orders into the Accounting software received from the Parts Departments (Daily)
- Process payments to vendors that are not paid through Purchase Order system (examples: utilities, advertisers, rush checks, etc.) (Daily)
- Reconcile Purchase Order invoices to Statements of Vendors (Monthly)
- Cut checks for the reconciled Statements from Vendors (Monthly)
- File and maintain records for required period.
- Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Be able to read and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence
- Must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
- Must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
- Possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures, and standards
