What we're looking for:
Diamond Mattress is seeking an individual with at least 3 years relevant accounts payable experience. This position is with a fast-paced environment of a growing company, so teamwork and strong relationships are important. This individual must be detail oriented, well organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities, while communicating (verbally and written) clearly and effectively. This is a non-exempt, full-time, position working in the Companys Rancho Dominguez office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Entering and verifying AP invoices (not high volume AP)
• Three-way AP matching: Ensure invoiced quantities and pricing are correct
• Communicate with vendors and employees relating to AP matters. Follow up as required
• Compile and sort invoices, packing slips and checks/ACH payments
• Ensure all required approvals are obtained and prepare and perform payments
• Track expense reports and credit card charges
• Maintain AP Aging and recurring payments to ensure payments are made on time and discounts are taken when available (check runs are performed weekly)
• Assist with other AP related duties, including new vendor forms, sales tax, W-9, ACH
• Support other accounting related functional areas such as bank reconciliation assistance and journal entry posting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer Skills: ERP system to process AP + Excel and Outlook
• Journal entry and light accounting experience a plus
• Communicates clearly and effectively
• Multi-Tasking and Problem Solving
• Team Player
• Listens Well and Effectively Resolves Conflict
• Minimum education level: High School or equivalent
• Accounting certification and/or relevant experience a plus

All candidates will be required to take a Drug Test and Physical Exam, in addition to job-specific qualification requirements. The successful candidate must pass the above to be eligible for employment at Diamond Mattress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
