Minimum requirements:

  • 3 years of Accounting experience. (Property Management experience preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Weekly:

  • Review AP payments, positive pay, and approval
  • Initiate Payroll transfers and record on the books
  • Oversee the AP team and assist them with any inquiries
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant with any financial reports
  • Review/answer coding problems and questions

Monthly:

  • Review & reconcile for all 22 properties and non-operating payroll
  • Accrual Payables
  • Payroll liabilities

Quarterly:

  • Quarterly distribution letters
  • Quarterly financial reports to lenders
  • Oversee AP Aging with team members
  • Keep capital expenditures report for properties

Yearly:

  • Oversight and submit 1099-NEC to IRS
  • Maintain a record of spreadsheet and process payments with registering agent Services.

New Acquisitions


  • Help set up new utility accounts and communicate with utility broker
  • Obtain online access to the utility provider
  • Reconcile payroll bank account
  • Review month coding for all properties
  • Prepare financial reports for properties
  • Ensure proper record keeping of monthly recurrent bills
  • Communicate and submit monthly draws requests and follow up
  • Prepare Green repairs or immediate draws, track, and submit to the lender
  • Insurance Claim Draw projects, track, and submit to the lender
  • Assist Managers/Supervisors schedule inspections
  • Vendor communication and research for major issues to be resolved
  • Overseeing internal issues resolution with Accounts Payables processes
  • Property Permits processing
  • Special Projects as assigned by the manager
  • Amortize Prepaid Expenses
  • Maintain and record payments for Philadelphia Insurance
  • Supply office material
