Accounts Payable Supervisor Job at GenesisCare

Responsible for activities and operations in the accounts payable function for the organization. Analyzes invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Prepares accounts payable register and related reports in a timely manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, assigns, directs, and evaluates the work of subordinates.
- Directs and supervises the activities of the accounts payable function.
- Responsible for the maintenance of computer files related to the accounts payable function.
- Responds to all vendor and departmental inquiries.
- Supervise reconciliation of vendor accounts and their balances.
- Responsible for review of invoices for accuracy and authorization prior to payment.
- Responsible for the inventory of all checks.
- Responsible for accurate preparation of all checks issued.
- Responsible for record retention for source documents.
- Prepares financial reports upon request.
- Provides departmental training as needed.
- Responsible for oversight of Basware processes
- Responsible for oversight of Concur expense reimbursement processing
Qualification Requirements:
- Experience with Basware preferred
- Experience with Concur preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft office programs
- Ability to plan, assign, direct and evaluate work of subordinates.
- Ability to analyze and research documents.
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position
