McLean County Center for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position includes an excellent compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, generous paid time off benefits, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update fund sources in client eligibility records
- Submit claims to funding sources
- Process payments and denials received from funding sources
- Prepare aged receivable reports and follow up with funding sources
- Provide training and support to other staff in regard to accounts receivable functions
Qualifications:
- High School Degree
- Experience with electronic medical billing
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party insurance providers
- Experience with State of Illinois Medicaid Program preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in community behavioral health preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
