Executive Assistant – Department of Navy Job at SGI Global, LLC
SGI Global is seeking an Executive Assistant responsible for directly providing a wide variety of support to the Department of Navy. The position is located at The Washington Navy Yard (WNY) and is expected to be in person Monday-Friday 0830-1700. *Please note, this position is contingent on contract award and government funding*
Job Duties:
- Support the office with scheduling of events, coordination of meetings, and review and editing of correspondence
- Provide development and maintenance support for the tools used in the development and execution of specific initiatives and programs
- Assist with the file management and data collection of items (i.e. compiling, organizing, and synthesizing information)
- Provide support for administrative tasks such as SharePoint development, office organization, file management (system support to include, but not limited to: SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Office, Vizio, Tableau, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Senior Level Military and Government
- Bachelors Degree in related field from accredited university (can be substituted for additional years of experience)
- 6+ years of Administrative Assistance or Executive Support for Senior Level / C-Suite Executives
- Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and high priority requests
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the DoD and appropriate knowledge of DoD structure
- Understanding of DoD ranks
- Current DoD Clearance
