Position: Accreditation Manager - Junior

Location: Providence, RI (100% Remote)

Duration: 5 Months Plus

Job Description

Public Health Infrastructure Grant and will assist the Performance Management/Continuous Quality Improvement Manager as needed. The position will work collaboratively with cross functional teams within ensure consistency of accreditation work across PHAB domain team lines and alignment work related to strategic priorities, quality improvement strategies, and priority setting related to performance measures. This position will work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and consultants to integrate guidance, as identified.

Responsibilities

• Leading RIDOH’s reaccreditation efforts by coordinating the reaccreditation process within RIDOH
• Managing and implementing the reaccreditation process within RIDOH from early preparation for reaccreditation, through the reaccreditation decision, the post reaccreditation annual reports, and the next reaccreditation process
• Developing and managing a department work plan for achieving reaccreditation that includes timelines, responsibilities, and benchmarks
• Developing and implementing RIDOH’s internal plan to engage staff in the reaccreditation process
• Completing the registration and application through Public Health Accreditation Board’s (PHAB) electronic information system (e-PHAB)
• Managing and facilitating RIDOH’s Reaccreditation Team
• Maintaining a documents-management system for proposed and selected documentation
• Managing the process for selecting documentation for the PHAB measures
• Uploading the documentation into e-PHAB
• Coordinating responses to requests for information or documentation that are part of the PHAB review process
• Preparing and managing the PHAB site visit
• Organizing the development and implementation of any required reaccreditation plans in response to the Reaccreditation Committee’s review of the site visit reports
• Managing the development and submission of required annual reports
• Developing and managing the reaccreditation sustainability plan
• Perform other duties and related tasks as assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
