JAG Healthcare Wooster is now hiring in the Activities Department to add to our care team! We are looking for a part- time Activities Assistant. Potential shift hours are 2 days a week from 9am-5pm and every other weekend from 9am-4pm. Working every other weekend is a requirement when working part-time or full-time with our facility.

JAG Healthcare Wooster is a smaller, 42-bed facility with long term care for cognitive deficit/behavioral resident care model. We are looking for staff members that are committed to exceptional patient care and continuous quality improvement! Applicants must be team-oriented, dependable and demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.

This Activities Assistant position is perfect for students in recreational programs or those who have an interest in working in behavioral health! Activities Assistant Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)

• Responsible for daily preparation of supplies for activities
• Direct individual projects according to resident needs and abilities
• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner
• Record inventory log of residents’ personal items
• Assist residents with their spending needs
