Pacific Grove is looking for a full time Activity Director to join the family.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops plans, organizes, and implements resident activities in cooperation with appropriate resident support groups and community departments.
• Develops plans, organizes, and implements group staff training on Dementia and Alzheimer’s through the Oregon Care Partner website and other resources. A minimum of a 2-hour class is to be offered weekly.
• Develops, plans, and organizes new hire orientation weekly.
• Maintains appropriate records for staff trainings and records trainings in Blue Step.
• Consults and works with other departments in developing appropriate activities as they relate to the physical, emotional, and social needs of the individual residents.
• Purchases supplies and other material for the activity department, within budget.
• Maintains appropriate records of resident socialization.
• Prepares and distributes a monthly activity schedule.
• Plans and implements a monthly calendar.
• Ensures activity areas are well maintained.
• Most importantly serving seniors in your community!

This applicant must be extraordinary at caring for residents, maintain experience or the will to learn to become part of a team that’s desire is to lead the industry.
