Title: ADAS System Architect

Role:

Define the strategy for engineering the ADAS product and System / Software requirements to enable implementation of features into the system. Create the feature requirements and associated use cases for the ADAS Subsystem / product line.

Responsibilities

  • Create the details of the features from high-level descriptions on the roadmap to capture feature level requirements and associated use cases.
  • Responsible to define the systems architecture, features, requirements, and use cases
  • Responsible for defining the operational design domain for the ADAS system
  • Responsible for safety engineering of the ADAS system
  • Work with the test and validation team to verify functional operation to the technical specification and update the requirements as necessary from test feedback
  • Ensure the input into the development process is updated as issues are found during each testing phase
  • Effectively communicate with the rest of the organization when issues or failures arise

Required Experience

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in the electronics industry, automotive focus preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal effectiveness and escalate issues to management in a timely manner
  • Experience in systems engineering and requirements development
  • Knowledge/Experience in safety engineering processes like SOTIF & functional safety
  • Professional experience in active safety systems/ADAS and/or AVsSystem hardware and software knowledge through work experience

Preferred  Experience 

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience in Automotive Industry and knowledge in ADAS domain (vision / RADARs / Ultrasonics / LIDAR / HD Maps / DMS etc.)
  • Automotive OEM experience plus Tier-1 supplier interactions.
  • Experience working with Polarion & Jira tools
  • Experience in supplier management (technical aspects).
  • 3+ years of engineering experience as ADAS System Architect

Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
