The Department of Education is currently accepting resumes for an experienced professional who would like the opportunity to share their knowledge and professional skills as an adjunct faculty in the Teacher Education Program. Resumes will be reviewed as needed for each semester.

- Teach courses in Psychoeducational Assessment, Instruction of Mathematics for the Educationally Disabled, etc.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field,
- Teaching experience working in K-12,
- Teaching experiences working with students with intellectual disabilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Solid theoretical and practical background, and a commitment to teaching excellence.
- Strong organizational skills, be able to function autonomously, communicate effectively, and cooperate and interact pleasantly with all contacts.
- Ability to present a positive, professional image of the Education Department and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore through conduct and appearance.
- Excellent communication skills to include fluency in English.
- Familiarity with computers, proficiency in basic office programs such as Word and Excel, or the ability to learn quickly is necessary.
