Are you a professional interested in making a difference in the lives of students and the community? Become an adjunct instructor at Laurel Ridge! We are hiring adjunct faculty to teach day, evening, and limited online courses, at our Middletown, Fauquier, and Luray locations.
An Adjunct Faculty Job Fair to fill available positions is scheduled for Monday, February 20th at our Middletown campus and Wednesday, February 22nd at our Fauquier campus. The hours are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, and walk-ins are welcome. Please bring your resume and if possible, copies of your transcripts and/or credentials.

Applicants for many credit classes must hold at least a master’s degree in the teaching area from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants who have a master’s degree in a non-related field must have a minimum of 18 graduate hours specific to the teaching area.
Applicants interested in teaching in Dental Hygiene, Engineering Technology, Medical Laboratory, Nursing, and EMS must hold a bachelor’s degree in the field and in health professions an industry credential.
Trades and select occupational areas require applicants to have a high school diploma, certification or licensure, and experience in the field.

Compensation and Benefits:

Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the specific teaching discipline. History of successful teaching or related experience

Preferred Qualifications
The ability to use instructional technology.
