Overview:

Tatitlek Federal Services, Inc., is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to our government customers. The position is based in Washington DC.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Communicating with various administrative management divisions (e.g., Human Resources, Management Services, etc.) in the preparation of personnel requests, training forms, time and attendance reports.
  • Make domestic and/or international arrangements for travel.
  • Make arrangements for meetings and conferences, including gathering background materials, notifying participants.
  • Establish and maintain office records, procedures, reference materials, and technical subject matter files.
  • Search for, locates, assembles, and summarizes material from the files or other sources for use of the management team in solving problems, for use in meetings and conferences, in replying to requests for information, in preparation of reports, and the development, coordination and general administration of functions performed by the Department.
  • Follow up on suspense items and project deadlines.
  • Receive, review, and distributes incoming correspondence requiring technical consideration(s) by the supervisor and/or staff member based upon content and knowledge of program functions and staff assignments.
  • Use various office automation hardware and software to prepare memoranda, letters, and reports in final form or in rough draft as requested by originators.
  • Provides a variety of assistance to the team and leadership staff.


REQUIRED EDUCATION & SKILLS:


  • A minimum of (4) years of related experience.
  • All personnel working in this area must have or be able to attain a Public Trust clearance at the Moderate risk level.

  • Must be able to adjust to constantly changing priorities and demands.
  • Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group.
  • May interact with senior management.
  • Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.
