Summary

You will provide administrative support for ArtsEngine, an interdisciplinary initiative supported by the five North Campus schools and colleges (listed here) and housed in the College of Engineering. You will support the activities of the ArtsEngine Leadership Team, including the: Managing Director, Assistant Director, Academic Program Manager, and Faculty Director. You will play an important role in helping to provide a welcoming environment in our residential program, Living ArtsEngine. You will also help coordinate efforts within our academic program, UARTS. You will be an essential member of the ArtsEngine team and will be the first contact for many ArtsEngine partners, including faculty, staff, and students.

You will report to the ArtsEngine Managing Director.

Responsibilities*

  • Develop and distribute marketing materials for ArtsEngine programs and events, including creating regular newsletters
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics for ArtsEngine/Living ArtsEngine programs and events.
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings
  • Coordinate and attend ArtsEngine and related events
  • Process financial transactions in the University's financial accounting systmes
  • Reconcile monthly financial activity for ArtsEngine.
  • Hire, train, and manage student employees
  • Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and webpages related to ArtsEngine activities

Required Qualifications*

  • Senior level: 4+ years of related professional experience
  • Intermediate level: 2+ years of related professional experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience using independent problem solving skills
  • Commitment to providing an environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion

Work Locations

Underfill Statement

This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Please note the salary ranges for each classification:

  • Intermediate: $45,000 - $49,000
  • Senior: $51,000 - $58,000

Background Screening
