High Level Statement of the Role

This role provides administrative support to Kimball International Human Resources Team & the Mfg. location overall by exhibiting professionalism in providing administrative and clerical support. Role includes project work, general clerical tasks, administrative support to visitors/applicants/employees and helping other functional areas on an as needed basis.

High Level Roles & Responsibilities

  • Direct phone calls, visitors, and customers to appropriate areas
  • Provide administrative support to management staff and functional areas
  • Support in mail distribution
  • Maintains & updates documents as required
  • Responsible for ordering and organization of office supplies, break room supplies, food for meetings/plant events, and other items needed
  • Responsible for printing, organizing, scanning and/or stapling documents and other materials or confidential information for functional areas
  • Design communications and presentations in various programs, assist with the distribution of communications
  • Supports the office and conference room 6S requirements to maintain clean and organized areas
  • Perform data entry duties, to maintain records and summarize data to generate reports as necessary
  • Support facility tours by orgainizing refreshments, signage and any additional items
  • Assist with recruiting, uploading documentation and on boarding activites as directed by HR
  • Assist with employee events, handouts and communications
