Salary Range: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00

Responsible for ensuring that the required member enrollment documentations and administrative needs of the department are appropriately addressed. This position will support the department’s leadership in the day-to-day operations of the department. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Independence Care System

Essential Functions

  • Facilitate and maintain the processes of obtaining required enrollment documents (e.g. DOH 5055, Plan of Care) and ensure that they meet the NY State Department of Health compliance standards for enrollment.
  • Follow-up with non-compliant members via weekly worklist and complete appropriate documentation.
  • Upload cover letters and updated member forms in Care compass
  • Complete weekly status report and monitor adhoc reports for trend.
  • Follow-up with care team as appropriate for updates and intervention
  • Manage administrative functions, such as transportation (Access-Ride & Easypay) money billing and reconciliations.
  • Follow-up with doctors for open On-A-Roll Plan of Care requirements.
  • Reconcile monthly Amex accounts for several departments.
  • Respond to the needs of members and the organization, even if those needs do not coincide with the details of this job description

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in related field

Additional Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Medicaid
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • Bilingual in any second language preferred
  • Community-based healthcare experience preferred
