Job Summary and Qualifications

• The Administrative Director of Nursing Operations (ADNO) will provide leadership assistance in the overall planning, coordinating, providing and improving of healthcare services that meet customer needs and improve patient outcomes.
• Provides assistance in managing the financial (i.e., budget process, productivity and agency usage) and clinical operations of assigned area(s) and recommends qualified competent persons to provide care.
• Integrates department services with the hospital’s primary function.
• Coordinates and integrates services within departments.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services.
• Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency.
• Develops, markets, implements, and evaluates new services and programs.
• Participates in outside source selection for needed services.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Assists with providing in-service training and continuing education for staff.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN license required. Certification in area of specialty preferred. BLS certification required and maintained.

Education: Masters Degree Required.

Experience: 5 years of current clinical nursing experience required. Two (2) years’ experience as a Director required. (Must have managed as Charge Nurse or Clinical Manager)

Special qualifications: Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period. Knowledge of professional nursing principals and techniques and managerial skills typically acquired through 2-3 years of supervisor nursing experience (when applied to small hospitals) to or up to 4-6 additional experience as a director of nursing (when applied to larger hospitals).

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
