Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is hiring for their growing salvage department.

We are looking for an administrative inventory support team member to support our salvage team and aftermarket customers. You will provide research, analysis, and reporting, and will manage inventories. You will maintain systems related to the sale of goods through our online platform and brokering service. You will also provide excellent customer service to e-commerce customers and vendors.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess proficient computer skills, can navigate MS Office and Excel, will be detail-oriented, and have a strong customer service mindset.

Essential Functions:

  • Works collaboratively with salvage team, vendors, customers, and leadership to coordinate aftermarket loads.
  • Maintains spreadsheets to track prepayment by customers and updates internal systems to reflect weights, sales, and sustainability efforts.
  • Maintains spreadsheets to track aftermarket invoicing, BOLs, and the schedule of freight.
  • Updates DATA daily with aftermarket key metrics. Troubleshoots system problems by obtaining accurate reports used to manage the business.
  • Reviews aftermarket inventories by warehouse and vendors to determine 'build-a-load' opportunities with customers.
  • Supports warehouses with scheduling aftermarket pickups.
  • Assists in conducting statistical counts (i.e., bales, rotation count, etc.) and ensures they are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Completes daily production activity reports, and transmittal of reports in accordance with policies and procedures as required.
  • Reviews invoices and other documents from Salvage for Good and checks for accuracy.
  • Audit vendor listings, descriptions, and photos to ensure it meets platform standards.
  • Helps facilitate ordering supplies for warehouses and partner locations as needed.
  • Reviews aftermarket load sheets from other Goodwill agencies for accuracy and maintains information in a spreadsheet for accrual purposes.
  • Assist Aftermarket Manager with training and guiding Goodwill agencies to meet or exceed targets listing revenue, average sale price per pound, sell-through, and any other targets set by online partners.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensures a neat, clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Ensures adherence to agency safety/security policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

1 to 3 years of business, inventory management, or finance experience preferred.

This is a full-time hourly position with offered benefits of Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Term Life, Retirement, and Paid Time Off.
