Administrative Receptionist at a Tech Based Hedge Fund in Midtown West Job at BCL Search

Our client, a Hedge Fund in Midtown West Manhattan is seeking a polished, energetic and engaging Administrative Receptionist to join their Office Management team. Serving as the face of the firm in their global headquarters, the successful candidate will establish a smart, friendly and hospitable tone for all guests and employees alike. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, flexible, and an excellent multitasker. A degree from an accredited four year university is required, preferably with a 3.4 GPA or higher. This is an amazing opportunity for a junior candidate to join a fantastic firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide excellent experience for clients, candidates, and all visitors at global headquarters in Manhattan.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and email inquiries.
  • Help maintain meeting rooms, office supplies, and pantries.
  • Order catering and assist with set-up and clean-up for onsite meetings and events.
  • Provide logistical support for team members as needed, including scheduling, travel, and expense reports.
  • Contribute to the improvement of operational and administrative efficiency.
  • Typical hours vary between 8:00am-6:00pm, with occasional potential for overtime.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Administrative/executive/personal assistant, office management, or hospitality experience is helpful, though we also welcome applicants without that experience who may be seeking a position with predictable hours (e.g., to facilitate the pursuit of interests outside of work).
  • Skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, various phone systems, and internet tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organized and meticulously detail-oriented.
  • Tenacious, resourceful problem-solver.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a strong academic background.
SALARY
$66,500-72,500K + paid OT + discretionary bonus + amazing benefits

HOURS
7:45-5pm; 9-6pm depending on rotational schedule
