The Executive Director position leads and directs the overall operation of the community in accordance with residents’ needs, government regulations the communities’ policies and procedures. This position also maintains excellent service quality, high occupancy, and meets corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public
  • Provides leadership for staff and residents including proactively solving problems and resolving issues
  • Works in conjunction with regional operations to develop annual operating budgets and capital budgets. Continually explore means of revenue enhancement and expense reduction
  • Fosters creativity and maintains an atmosphere of stability among staff to deliver the highest quality and best services to support the personal dignity of residents in the most economical manner possible in an effort to Meet and exceed occupancy goals for the community
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, resident rights and needs of the residents
  • Implement and monitor clinical and quality systems to produce deficiency free surveys.
  • Develops and maintains a positive image within the community by becoming active in social and civic affairs of the local community, representing the facility and the company to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups and other appropriate public agencies/groups and acts as a member of Resident Council
  • Ensures buildings, grounds and property are up to company standards through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs, and frequent inspections that meet company standards of excellence
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that build and sustain strong sales revenue.
  • Responsible for obtaining family commitment to tour the community on viable referrals
  • Conduct professional tour with objective of gaining an admission
  • Responsible for the admission process of signing and explaining admission policies and procedures to residents and their families.
  • Responsible for 90-day marketing plan to achieve occupancy targets.
  • Identify and correct barriers in admissions process.
  • Host community events to build strong relationships with potential residents, referral sources, and area healthcare professionals.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Gerontology, Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Residential or Health Care
  • Executive Director must have a valid administrator license in states where required
  • Must have a valid driver license and access to a private vehicle for business use
  • Familiarity with Microsoft software preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks is essential. Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles, and interests
  • Demonstrate good judgment, strong problem solving and decision making skills:
