The Snowsports Instructor loves alpine sports and shares their passion, knowledge, and experience with aspiring or like-minded enthusiasts. Their passion extends the lesson past the hill; sharing what it means to be a part of the culture and community too. This individual is responsible for creating an exciting experience for our guests that is inclusive to everyone, with safety as the highest priority. Although our Instructors generally teach either Adult of Children's lessons depending on skill set, capabilities, and business need..Additionally, Instructors support the team in many ways including assisting with lessons of varying disciplines, ages, and abilities, ensuring our carpets and lifts are spinning, acting as a champion of safety, and proactively anticipating our guests' needs whatever they may be.

Positions available for both Skiing and Snowboarding (adults and kids lessons)

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Snowsports Instructor:

• Provides an impeccable level of service to our guests.
• Teaches group and/or private lessons - for all ages and skills levels when necessary
• Coordinates and supports team in off-hill responsibilities.
• Acts as an ambassador for the resort and for safe practices both on and off hill.
• Builds, maintains, and tears-down operational areas including fences, signage, equipment, for daily operations and storm prep/snow removal.
• Operates "magic-carpets" in compliance with department training and safety requirements.
• Understands and communicates resort offerings to our guests.
• Takes direction and translates effectively to daily responsibilities.
• Maintains presentability of both public-facing and back-of-house Snowsports areas.
