Job Summary

Evergreen Recovery Centers (ERC), a Northwest leader in innovative substance use disorder services, is seeking 2 qualified, compassionate, caring, non-judgmental Psychiatric ARNP’s to be part of our expanding Health Services and outreach activities. These positions can be either full-time or part-time, providing direct patient care to individuals with behavioral health disorders seen in a variety of our service settings – residential and withdrawal management, outpatient Health Services clinic locations, and medical services for new HOST homeless outreach program in Snohomish County.

The Psych ARNP’s are an integral member of a comprehensive care to our pregnant and parenting women and their children, men with trauma histories and co-occurring mental health disorders, and patients of a medically staffed withdrawal management service. Also provides acute care, prescription and clinic services in our two Outpatient clinics in Everett and Lynnwood. Health Services team consists of family and psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurse consultants, peer counselors and counselors and case managers. Services are delivered primarily in person (some telehealth with established patients). Some positions are funded through a stable grant, not fee for service billing and caseloads are small to allow time for individualized care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience providing adult primary care; will consider individuals with comparable nursing experience for up to one year of experience.
• Familiarity with American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria and most current DSM.
• Knowledge and skill in working with persons with co-occurring mental health and SUD.
• Washington State License as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
• DEA license and NPI number necessary at hire; Provider One registration preferred.
• Have or are amenable to obtain a practitioner waiver to administer, dispense, and prescribe buprenorphine for some patients when appropriate. (Note: ERC uses medications as an adjunct to comprehensive treatment and is not a stand-alone MAT program.)
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and insurance.
• Must be eligible to provide Medicaid services.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test confirming no use of mood-altering drugs (no THC use).
• A full curriculum vitae or resume should be attached with ERC job application.

Work Location and Hours

• Primary office is in Lynnwood or South Everett office and travel is between ERC sites in Lynnwood and Mount Vernon. Office hours Monday – Friday with alternating on-call responsibility on weekends.
• Will consider applicants interested in part-time work.
