  • 20-35 Minutes from Cleveland, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Elyria, Avon, Medina, and Brunswick

  • 35-45 Minutes from Lakewood, Beachwood, Sandusky, Brecksville, and Strongsville

Work Tour: Full time/Long Term Salaried Position. (M-F 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Position Overview:

This position will report to C-Level management and be responsible for meeting/exceeding monthly sales goals. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with establishing a strategic plan to identify net-new business as well as engaging current customers to foster ongoing business relationships. This candidate will be working primarily with customers in the Government/Education/SMB space.

This position is primarily an inside sales-based position, however meeting with regional customers will be required at times. Candidate will be working with internal I.T. team and vendors/distributors to put together best in class solution offerings for our customers. Working with teams in a collaborative environment is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet/Exceed monthly revenue and profit goals consistently

  • Meet/Exceed I.T. service revenue goals

  • Strategic Management

    • Selling entire portfolio of SpaceBound product/service offerings

    • Work with peers and management on business development strategy

    • Foster relationships with vendors/distributors/business resources

    • Maintain positive working relationships with internal departments such as Marketing, Product Management, Vendor Management, Customer Service, etc.

  • Customer Management

    • Develop and execute regional and national sales plans

    • Generate Net New business

    • Maintain customer relationships through outbound calls/emails/marketing

    • Understand and meet specific customer needs

  • Training & Development

    • Assist with onboarding/training of new employees

    • Complete self-paced, Manufacture/Technology trainings monthly

    • Participate in in-person vendor led trainings

    • Participate in SpaceBound customer facing events

    • Participate in Trade Events (may require travel)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience (Preferably in a technology focused field)

  • Experience working with Federal, State, Local Government, Public Safety, K12 or Small/Medium Business customers is a plus

  • Understanding of various technologies including Wireless Technology, Cyber Security, Physical Security, Disaster Recovery & Backup, PC Systems, Accessories & Peripherals, aaS (as a Service) offerings

  • Experience selling Licensing and Warranties, as well as solution-based sales

  • Familiarity with vendor technologies including Cisco, HP, HPE, Intel, Microsoft, Netgear, Arcserve, Fortinet, Sophos, APC, or related

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Sharepoint, Outlook, Teams)

  • Demonstrated sales ability in product sales, solution sales, managed services

  • Strategic Planning, Time Management and Follow Up are critical to this position as well as the ability to report to senior management regularly

  • Ability to multi-task and balance several priorities as well as adapting to changing needs of the company

  • Experience with CRM/ERP platforms for customer management

  • Travel may be required up to 25% of the time (local customer visits or business travel for national trade-events)
