Essential job functions include: - Ability to read and interpret engine manuals and drawings - Ability to learn and use dimensional gauges and equipment - Process parts in accordance with procedures technical instructions as provided and required - Transport parts within the shop - Set up and maintain equipment used in production - Log dimensional data into computer system - Ensure documentation is accurate - Performs all assigned duties in a safe, efficient, and quality focused manner - Prepare parts for shipping Desired Competencies - Attention to detail - Self-managed with ability and maturity to make repair decisions and perform tasks under time specification as required - The ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 20 pounds as required to perform the job - Experience with hand tools for grinding / blending - Precision blend of small areas on compressor blades to desired results - Must have good or corrected vision to perform the tasks and read accurately - Willingness to cross train on multiple jobs - Previous Manufacturing experience desired but not required Pre-requisites - Mechanical and/or aviation experience/aptitude preferred
