After School Teaching Position in Fresh Meadows Job at Advantage Academy
Schedule: 2:30pm-6:00pm, Monday through Friday (School Days)
Job Location: Fresh Meadow, NY
Advantage Academy has an opening position for after school teacher who is energetic with good communication skills. Teacher should be responsible for conducting aged appropriate implementation of lesson and activities for students.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-Assist Reading/Writing and Math using our learning materials
-Ensure students’ homework are completed in timely manner
-Working with students on critical thinking skills/ writing skills/ math skills
-Provide extra works and activities
-Helping to improve upon and develop students reach their potentials
Requirements:
-Good Classroom Management
-Ability to assist homework from 4th-7th Grade
-Familiarity with the current state standards (It is a plus!)
-Must be detail oriented and organized
-Maintain classroom cleanness
-Should bring energy to the classroom and be very personable.
Job Type: Full Time/ Part-Time
Rate: Hourly rates commensurate with experience/qualifications
