Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ambulatory Care Tech, you will be primarily responsible for the supply/equipment in the ED. This would include ordering supplies, maintaining par levels, stock rooms. You will also perform patient care duties under the direction and supervision of a Register Nurse. In addition, you will transport patients as indicated.

Tasks and Responsibilities, you will:

• Demonstrates appropriate priorities of care when admitting patients to the Emergency Department.
• Prepares patients for transport to diagnostic test or room assignments (Cardiac Monitor, IV poles, Oxygen).
• Transports patients to floors in a timely manner and with the appropriate monitoring equipment
• Prepares rooms between patients assuring that the rooms are restocked, cleaned, and equipped.

Position Qualifications:

• Paramedic, EMT, Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomy License
• Must have proof of highest degree achieved if required to perform Point of Testing
• BLS or ARC CPR
• Less than 1-year experience

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
