Our communications team engages directly with a variety of external and internal stakeholders as we share Cheniere’s story. We’re looking to expand the team with an individual who is highly versed in digital media with an emphasis on video production. In this role, you’ll be expected to have in-depth knowledge of digital media technology and best practices. You will envision, capture and produce videos, graphics and a range of digital media content for use across our communications channels – including events, websites and social media. You must be an excellent communicator, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Help tell Cheniere’s story through a variety of digital tools and media platforms.
  • Develop, produce and deploy materials and content for external and internal audiences using a hands-on approach and with oversight from managers.
  • Work collaboratively with the communications department and broader Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA) organization to execute external and internal communications tactics.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming with a focus on adding measurable value to the company.
  • Provide recommendations on Cheniere’s digital and creative content strategy.
  • Help maintain the company’s digital presence on websites and social media channels.
  • Write material for a range of communications products such as scripts, social media posts, website content, advertisements, etc.
  • Provide research and analytical support to communications products.
  • Solicit feedback from managers, colleagues and clients.
  • Continue to develop knowledge and skills for digital media.
  • Provide regular updates to managers within department.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge:

Knowledge of a wide range of current digital media and storytelling tactics, practices and hardware and software tools used to develop and deliver creative communications materials. In-depth knowledge of digital media technology and processes used in video production. Knowledge of website and social media communication channels and the tools used to manage them. Knowledge of AP style.

Skills:

  • Strong storytelling skills with an eye for visual communications.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in all aspects of video production.
  • Demonstrated detailed understanding of the technical specifications, capabilities and limitations associated with current digital media hardware and software tools, including computers, still and video cameras, lighting, audio, teleprompters, post-production tools, compression standards, file formats, live streaming platforms, etc. Demonstrated ability to use those tools to produce high-quality products, start to finish.
  • Demonstrated ability to light and shoot different styles of videos indoors and out, such as promotional reels, personnel interviews, leader messages straight to camera, event coverage B-roll, etc.
  • Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with particular emphasis on oral skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization and with individuals from diverse disciplines and levels of technical savvy.
  • Drone experience and U.S. FAA remote pilot certificate preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite with intermediate skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator preferred.
  • Ability to write and create visual content for – and engage effectively on – social media platforms, with emphasis on Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in Hootsuite or other social media management tool preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate photography skills.
  • Ability to apply AP style in written communications.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva preferred.
  • Moderate problem-solving and analytical skills; Able to identify and diagnose moderately complex IT problems and implement solutions rapidly and effectively.
  • Self-directed, able to excel with limited direction or supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education, Training and Certifications : Bachelor’s degree in creative and/or communications discipline with three (3) plus years of experience preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

Experience :

More than 3 years of demonstrated experience producing high-quality digital video, graphics and communications deliverables to support organizational objectives. Experience working in a commercial business environment preferred.

Serves as communications resource supporting communications team with creative concepts and development for a variety of digital materials. The Communications Analyst must exercise discretion when communicating with internal personnel at all levels of the organization.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
  • Often exposed to stressful situations.
  • Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
  • Periodic travel as business requires, including travel to our facilities for regular updates of our photo/video libraries
