If you have:

  • Preference will be given to an individual already having hands-on experience in an office environment with some high school or college training in general accounting.
  • Must possess a brisk, efficient work pace and the ability to complete assignments with accuracy.
  • Must be a good communicator, possess pleasant telephone speaking voice, and have a courteous disposition toward visitors and co-workers.
  • Must be highly accurate following alphabetic and numeric order filing systems.
  • Must adapt quickly to training and be capable of spotting problems and errors.
  • Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Prefer an individual with capability of possible advancement to the next level in either the accounts payable or accounts receivable groups.

A typical day may look like this:

  • Responsible for front desk activities such as: answering and processing telephone calls, management of incoming/outgoing mail and other special deliveries, prepare miscellaneous bank deposits. Approximate total percent of time: 40% or more.
  • Provide assistance in the Accounting and Admin/Legal departments, which may include VISA statement matching, distribution of AP invoices e-mail, printing reports, preparing items for record retention and maintaining file drawer contents. Approximate total percent of time: 35% or less.
  • Other office duties as deemed appropriate. Approximate total percent of time: 15%.
