Find your purpose as an Application System Specialist or Analyst with CentraCare! CentraCare is looking for a hardworking individual to join our Epic Ambulatory Clinical Apps Team. The successful candidate will be hired into an Application System Specialist or Application System Analyst position.

What you’ll do:

The Application System Specialist/Analyst works with end users and technical groups to provide operational and technical support, troubleshooting, and/or recommend process or system improvements.

What you’ll do as a Specialist:

• Entry level position responsible for basic build functions in assigned software application.
• Under supervision, responsible for workflow design, build, implementation, modification and testing of assigned software application(s). Uses software expertise to investigate, resolve and/or escalate basic to moderate support issues.
• Under the direction of an experienced analyst, assists in build for one or more complex build functions in assigned software application.
• Completes application and integrated testing in assigned software application and documents results of testing.

What you’ll do as an Analyst:

• Responsible for application design, build, configuration, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots complex workflows and configuration within application.
• Provides consultative advice while validating workflows and configuration.
• Utilizes detailed knowledge in a minimum of one application/module with an understanding of the relationships between applications/modules to maintain system integrity.
• Plans, organizes, sets schedules and directs projects as assigned by leadership.
• Works with end users and other Information Services personnel to develop and achieve project objectives, define deliverable schedules, develop system test and acceptance criteria, and assist in the development of training and education materials.

Specialist Requirements:

• One year post-secondary education in related field, bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of operational or related application experience.
• Application Certification or proficiency status required within 6 months of hire and within 3 attempts of certification/proficiency testing.
• Previous experience in information technology and/or electronic health record software.

Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years related application build experience.
• Application Certification or proficiency status required within 6 months of hire and within 3 attempts of certification/proficiency testing.
• Previous experience in information technology and/or electronic health record software.
