DODGE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

WHAT: Currently there are 2 vacancies on the Board of Adjustment to be filled immediately.
The Board of Adjustment is a 7 member Board (5 primary and 2 alternates) appointed by the Dodge County Administrator and confirmed by the Dodge County Board. The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial Committee that reviews and decides variance requests to zoning regulations and hears and decides on appeals made on orders or decisions made by the County Land Use Administrator or the County Land Resources and Parks Committee.
ELIGIBILITY: Must be a resident in any of the unincorporated areas of Dodge County.
Legal, zoning or construction knowledge is helpful but not required. Training and education sessions are available.
- 2nd Thursday of each month at 9:30 AM for onsite visits.
- 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM for public hearings.
TERM: Appointments to the Board are for up to 3 years. The County Administrator can reappoint for additional term(s) if interested.
COMPENSATION: Members are given $60.00 per meeting and are reimbursed for mileage to the meetings.
