POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FULL-TIME For North Carolina NIEHS/ USEPA Government Armed Security Contract. 8 FULL-TIME positions.

General requirements to be eligible:

* Be a United States citizen.

* Have either a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited institution recognized by U.S Department of Education

* MUST meet the following requirements:

* Two years of security experience within the last five years or two years of Military experience or two years Law enforcement or Completion of state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training or Police Officer's standard Training Course.

* Must have North Carolina State PPSB Clearance Card (security guard license)

* Must have North Carolina State PPSB Gun Permit (firearms permit)

* Must be able to pass Government background and receive a clearance MBI.

* Must be able to pass a physical agility test .

* Must be able to pass a course of fire on the range with a 9mm. (20 - 40 hours)

* Must have or be able to obtain First aid & CPR AED (provided during training)

* Must have or be able to obtain OC Spray Caspsicum Oleoresin (provided during training)

Other training requirements may apply to the security positions posted in Durham North Carolina such as NCPPSB.

Job Type: Armed Federal Security Contract

Salary: $21.89 Per Hour Plus Health & Welfare at $4.55ph (Health Insurance or 401-K ) Plus $1.40ph into a pension.

Required education:

· High school or equivalent

· Required license or certification:

· PPSB State Gun Permit

· PPSB State Guard Permit (few unarmed positions)

Required experience:

- Security: a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service, or NIEHS USEPA SOW for ASO Services Version 1.0 36 commercial/industrial security service)

- Duties shall include control center operations, telephone and radio communications, report writing, dispatching, servicing, tracking, and maintaining the status of responding ASOs.
