Art Studio Manager (Supervisor)

Unarthodox is a creative company that utilizes art as a tool for personal transformation. Our concentration is in our Unarthodox Studio. A creative space where groups and individuals come and engage in unique, immersive, and interactive experiences, using various forms of art. We are located in Chelsea, New York City blocks from Hudson Yards. We are looking for an amazing studio manager to lead our New York location.

Candidate should have previous management experience in the hospitality industry.

Highly organized, personable and fast-learning, who can establish healthy relationships in a team as well as maintaining a high level of customer service.

The responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Handling Event logistics and event production for in-house, mobile and virtual events
• Establishing and maintaining existing procedures for event production as well as in team communication
• Dealing with vendors (primarily food vendors)
• Answering sales calls
• Team scheduling
• Internal and external team communications
• Tracking the inventory and ordering supplies
• Be present at the events and maintaining overall level of service during an experience
• Maintaining company culture within our team and planning quarterly team activities.
• Team training, hiring

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Prior management experiences in such industiones as: HoReCa, Wellness, Art, Customer Service
• Excellent communication and people skills, ability to establish genuine relationship with team members
• Good writing skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Quick learner
• Hands on approach, quick learner with common sense.
• Ability to make a decision on a spot
• Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop
• Ability to conduct research if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
