Art Teacher (Middle & High) Job at Fulton Science Academy Private School
Fulton Science Academy Private School is hiring an Art Teacher for the 2023-2024 academic school year as we strengthen our fine arts offerings. Fulton Science Academy primarily serves advanced and gifted students and prides itself on providing a working atmosphere for our teachers to grow as professionals and individuals.
The candidate hired for this position will be expected to provide a student centered, supportive classroom environment aimed to help students achieve success. The classroom environment established should be one that balances students’ academic and social emotional needs in alignment with Fulton Science Academy’s core values.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid GA teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Art and/or Art Education
Preferred:
- Teaching experience
- Gifted endorsement
- Master’s degree in Art and/or Art Education field
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide teaching in Art
- Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students by incorporating strategies for engagement, rigor, and climate and culture within the classroom.
- Maintaining grades and student progress, including timely feedback.
- Develop and maintain genuine, positive and consistent communication with parents, faculty and staff.
- Work collaboratively with grade level and elementary team colleagues.
- Contribute to and benefit from the school community.
- Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:00am-3:45pm or 7:20am-4:10pm
Salary: 55,000-65,000
