ALM Environmental provides commercial, industrial, multi-family, and single family mitigation, restoration and abatement services to the Central Valley. The foremost focus at ALM Environmental is property loss restoration and mitigation services to insurance carriers, property managers and property owners. Responsibilities:

The Asbestos Supervisor is responsible for the day to day oversight of all assigned Environmental projects. Including but not limited to Asbestos Abatement, Microbial Growth Clean up and Lead Abatement. Additional responsibilities include state or local code, temporary labor management, equipment selection and material procurement, on-site management, efficient paperwork and quality control. The Asbestos Supervisor is also responsible for working closely with occupants, property owners and industrial hygienist throughout the abatement process, including daily updates to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Field Management

  • Manage techs and temporary labor at job sites and at shop.
  • Each day, fill out a Daily Project Summary, Sign in Sheet and Safety tool box meeting forms.
  • Monitor progress and schedule for final clearances.
  • Manage temporary labor sources.
  • Complete order form for materials and equipment needed for specific projects.
  • Ensure all demolition is clean, complete and ready for rebuild.
  • Monitor man hours allotted for project completion.
  • Manage sign in sheets for all Temporary labor sources.
  • Adhere to all, State, OSHA and Environment regulations.
  • Assist as needed with any Mitigation emergencies.
  • Ensure project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
  • Adheres to all company Best Practices
  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • All other duties or projects as assigned

Office/Shop Management * Review and monitor paperwork related to project and turn in to Project Coordinator.

  • Turn in Temporary Labor Timesheet Weekly.
  • Maintain commonly used materials inventory.
  • Fill out order form for equipment and materials used for a specific job.
  • Track equipment used on projects to ensure inventory of equipment is accounted for.
  • Tag and communicate any equipment needing service.
  • Update project schedules as needed.
  • Ensure your appropriate certifications are kept up to date.
  • Ensure equipment is in working condition and ready for deployment.
  • Responsible for directing, mentoring and training Environmental Technician personnel.
  • Monitor man hours, materials and equipment used to ensure project profitability.
  • Using Temp labor resources, and other means to ensure overtime is not incurred. After hours overtime excluded.

Qualifications: * Asbestos 40 hour supervisor certificate.

  • 1-3 years asbestos abatement experience.
  • Candidate must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to travel in response to both emergency and non-emergency losses across the Central Valley.
  • Representation on ALM emergency abatement on-call rotation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external contacts
  • Previous experience as a supervisor is preferred.
  • Experience running various projects at the same time
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and written), and Team leader.
  • Understanding of MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Xactimate experience is a plus
  • · CA Driver License

We are currently seeking an Asbestos Supervisor to join our team. Environmental Supervisor duties include, but are not limited to the following tasks: - Supervise the daily activities of employees, ensuring that manpower and equipment utilization is done in a cost effective manner in accordance with the scope of work. - Submit production reports to Project Manager. These will include materials delivered, equipment used on jobsite and employee work hours. - Identify potential problems and communicate any production delays to the Project Manager. - Ensure jobsite activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance to training including: * Proper use of required PPE

  • Ensure that any site specific safety rules are followed
  • Maintain proper housekeeping on jobsite.

- Travel as necessary to meet the demands of client needs.
- Provide prompt solutions to any changes or issues that arise on project.

Competitive Wages. Based on experience and 32-40 hour AHERA training if applicable $22-$25/ hourly
