Greenheck Group is currently hiring Assemblers on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in their Minneapolis, MN location. Assemblers start at $21.37/hour and will receive an additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assemble air handling units per blueprint. Install all necessary components according to SAP program.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to understand component functions.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
• Ability to safely operate equipment (Accupress, Accushear, notcher, bandsaw, welder, pipe threader).
• Ability to identify all parts used during assembly.
• Ability to maintain paperwork/recordkeeping.
• Operate overhead crane/forklift/material handling equipment based on safety guidelines.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
• Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels.
• Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities
• Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18+
• A stable work history without significant gaps of employment
• Basic math, reading and computer skills
• Experience reading a tape measure
• Experience reading blue prints
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
• Requires frequent lifting, routine bending, leaning, reaching, kneeling, etc.
• Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing, farming or the military is a plus.
• Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.
