Critical Systems Technician

With our continued growth, we are looking to add a motivated and hardworking Critical Systems Technician to our Oconto, WI location. This position will be responsible for the subassembly, installation, and testing of the following (including but not limited to): main distribution panel, shift/throttle control, steering system, instrument clusters, helm switch, and waste/water indicators.

This is a Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. position. There will be occasional overtime on Fridays.

What you will do

· Assembles, inspects and test all major components and critical systems: fuel systems, water systems, bilge components, engines, generators, electrical systems, appliances, safety systems, entertainment components, dash components, controls, electronics, AC, air conditioning, 12-volt, switches, gauges.

· Upload latest programs on electronics, may require researching on computer. Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams.

· If issues are discovered, must communicate with appropriate team members to resolve issue.

· Follow checklist of items to be tested and check item as test completed, or note if malfunction occurs. Requires reading, writing, and math skills

· Use of various air/ power tools.

· Perform pre-decking MA checklist inspection

· Train crew members on eliminating/ preventing defects.

What you need to have

· Knowledge of: electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics.

· Ability to apply and adjust knowledge to each individual boat model

· Ability to use hand tools as well as power/air tools

· Ability to read blueprints

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team

· Self-motivated and the ability to do tasks with a sense of urgency

· Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced work environment

· Great attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
