ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Greystone Programs, Inc. provides a variety of supports and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings.
We seek a skilled, caring Registered Nurse as our new Assistant Director of Nursing to join our clinical team who will assist the Director of Nursing in maintaining our standards of care in developing, modifying and advising staff on nursing care plans and working collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team.
They will also assist in establishing nursing protocols and policies, interpreting those policies according to the standards of nursing practice, provide nursing leadership and guidance to RNs and LPNs and assure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and nursing practice standards. This position maintains a caseload as the RN for one or more IRAs/Programs. Position will be in Dutchess or Orange County, NY.
Qualifications: Valid NYS nursing and driver's license required. Previous nursing experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
