Assistant Director of Ticket Operations Job at North Dakota State University
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Athletics for Ticket Operations, the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations will assist in all aspects of ticketing operations and fulfillment for the Athletic Ticket Office. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Manage the hiring, termination, training, and supervision of part-time office and event staff. Responsible for scheduling part time staff to ensure adequate coverage of the ticket office and events. Approximately 15 staff members.
- Provide assistance to full-time staff (Development, Annual Giving and Administration) in various ticketing and fund development applications on the Paciolan system.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of ticketing system (events, venue layouts, print layouts, database management, priority points, email communication).
- Assist with setup and management of student-athlete complimentary ticket requests through ARMS.
- Respond to emails submitted to ndsu.bisontickets@ndsu.edu and assist with incoming phone calls.
- Assist with season and single game ticket sales and mailings.
- Process payments for Team Makers (annual giving) and season ticket renewals.
- Reconciliation of event ticket sales and receipts.
- Assist with management of major university and NCAA championship athletic events as needed. Requires evening and weekend hours for events as well as additional evening and weekend hours for event preparation and set-up. Set-up and preparation critical to success of the events and Athletic department. Errors can result in significant loss of revenue and severe negative public relations.
- Assist with set-up and management of all single game on-sales. Includes advance set-up of online ticketing system as well as management of inventory, troubleshooting during the on-sale and reconciliation of receipts upon completion.
- Preparation and reconciliation of event parking money.
- Supervise USA Wrestling ticket sales.
- Provide assistance to Events and Operations during regularly scheduled events as needed.
- Provide ticket support for away/neutral site games as needed.
Advertised Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of box office experience
- Familiarity with a computerized ticketing system
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year supervising game day/office staff.
- Experience with Paciolan ticketing and fundraising platforms.
