Woodhaven Country Club is looking for an enthusiastic manager, happy to be of service and ready with a welcoming smile. Will work closely with the General Managers & Executive Chef to ensure every detail is met and service expectations are exceeded.

· Looking for someone who really wants to put their stamp on an already successful food and beverage operation by helping improve service models.

· Bourbon & mixology experience a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Your primary function will be to provide leadership and guidance to all food and beverage outlets and club events, formal and casual dining, outdoor patio dining, and poolside cabana food service.

· Oversee maintenance and housekeeping of clubhouse, ensuring cleanliness standards and maintenance needs are met.

· Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication.

· Leads the department by creating a positive, supportive environment where talents, skills, and trade practices are exchanged, and operational support is provided for all Food and Beverage employees.

· Coaches and develops employees using a consistent approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.

· Strives to improve and streamline departmental operations through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness/value.

· Executes and audits supplies and inventory items ensuring cost controls.

· Ensures that the minimum level of labor is used to perform the required level of service without impacting service standards.

· Helps set performance expectations and provides operational support for the supervisory team and employees.

· Enforces all appearance and uniform guidelines. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of the food service venues.

· Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.

· Must possess exemplary customer service, attitude, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and managerial skills.

· Help build a positive culture for the restaurant operations.

· Engages with members and learn their preferences and delivering the highest level of guest service.

COMPUTER SKILLS

· Working knowledge of various computer software programs, but not limited to, word-processing, Excel Spreadsheets, and E-mail

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· Minimum two years’ experience in F&B management or similar position

· Food and wine/spirits pairing knowledge

· Knowledge of purchasing, ordering, receiving, beverage costing, and inventory procedure.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

· First Interview by phone with Executive Chef and/or General Managers

· Second interview F2F with senior managers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at computer

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
