The primary responsibility of the role is to assist the Marketing Manager in leading, managing, and holding the Marketing Staff accountable to assigned projects. In addition, they must ensure that agent marketing messaging meets with and are within regulatory compliance under TREC advertising rules and Brand Standards. The Assistant Marketing Manager will be critical in supporting the team to deliver consistent and measurable ROI for our advertising efforts. They will also be required to cross-train on other departmental functions to support the workflow process.

Compensation starts at $47,000.00 can be more depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Adheres to “The Very Best” Brand Service Standards, which is to be dedicated to serving the Buyers and Sellers of high-quality real estate across Texas.

2. Lead, manage and hold accountable the Marketing Staff to assigned projects/deadlines.

3. Lead and facilitate weekly department meetings and weekly 1:1s to ensure excellent execution.

4. Monitor correspondence and assign/address as needed in a timely and appropriate manner.

5. Ensure high-quality creative content is produced by department by proofing diligently for grammar and accuracy of all information including brand standards, pricing, listing agent, online ID, etc.

6. Responsible for retention of Team Members by creating and maintaining a positive culture within the department.

7. Training of new team members in brand standards as well as departmental procedures and operations.

8. Builds and maintains solid company, brand and category knowledge including understanding of brand strategies, target consumers, product offerings, marketing plans, competitors, and industry trends.

9. Explores and recommend to Marketing Manager new methods to optimize marketing content and communications and better engage with various audiences.

10. Organize resources to meet quarterly objectives.

11. Demonstrate excellent organizational and follow through skills with keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

12. Demonstrate excellent work ethic, dedicated to exceptional customer service, friendly and out-going. Able to adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities; A “Yes, I can do it” attitude.

13. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading real estate marketing publications.

14. Proof diligently for grammar and accuracy of all information including pricing, listing agent, online ID, etc.

15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of work experience in marketing, advertising, project / campaign management, graphic design, transaction/file management, real estate related industry experience is preferred. Project management and/or supervisory experience is required. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign as well as working knowledge of Photoshop, Publisher and Illustrator. Social media marketing experience – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogging, YouTube, internet-based marketing, etc.

Education

A college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications, or closely related field is required.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
