The Offutt School of Business of Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, invites applicants for a full-time faculty position, beginning August 2023. The teaching assignment is quantitative business/math-related courses in multiple levels including, but not limited to: data analysis & visualization, and operations research including specialty, including traditional courses in mathematics, data science, and business statistics. The successful candidate must demonstrate the capacity for engaging students in an active learning environment and will be involved with curriculum development and design in support of our undergraduate programs as well as our Master of Science in Management Science and Quantitative Methods (MSQM). Responsibilities in addition to classroom teaching, include advising graduate and undergraduate students, serving on faculty committees, and service to the profession and community. An active research program is required for a tenure-track position. There is an expectation for summer teaching in our graduate program.

The Offutt School of Business is one of the largest units of the College, offering undergraduate majors in Accounting, International Business, Finance, and Business Administration (with concentrations in management, marketing, economics, and finance). Undergraduate minors in Accounting, Business, and Entrepreneurship attract growing numbers of students. The Offutt School of Business will begin offering a graduate degree in Management Science in Quantitative Methods Fall of 2023.
