Work Schedule:

  • Thursday – Monday
  • Assistant Manager is off Tuesdays & Wednesdays (flexible)
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday - Sunday

Job Description:

  • Ensure all resident files, administrative files, forms, and all other paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Perform property inspections.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, vendors, and leasing staff to ensure the turnover process for vacant units is efficient.
  • Supervise on-site staff to ensure policies and company goals are achieved and to maximize employee potential.
  • Assist in hiring and training new staff.
  • Ensure workplace safety and training.
  • Generate reports using the Resident Management Software, Excel, and MS Word.
  • Oversee rent collection, batch preparation, and 3 Day Notices.
  • Oversee the rental process, including leads follow up, showing properties, application approval, unit allocation, lease agreement, and customer satisfaction.

Job Competencies:

  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Must have a math aptitude.
  • Must be able to draft correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to make an intellectual contribution to assigned projects and decision-making.
  • Ability to develop good business relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, employees, and management.
  • Professional image and demeanor.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Bilingual fluency a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Some college required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year in supervisory role.
  • Residential property management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
