ASSISTANT TEACHERS (year-round) Job at SUMMIT Early Learning

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency is required; two years’ experience working with children is highly preferred; must have an interest in child development and a flexible personality, as well as enjoy variety in your daily work routines.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant teacher, supported by an experienced team, provides a positive environment that meets the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs of enrolled children.
LOCATIONS:
LEWISBURG CHILDREN’S CENTER: 205 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA
MIFFLINBURG CHILDREN’S CENTER: 105 Quail Lane, Mifflinburg, PA
HOURS & SALARY: Full time (30-40 hours per week), Monday – Friday. $12.50 – $13.72 per hour
Rate of Pay: based on education/experience
Associates Degree or higher: $13.19 – $13.72/hour
CDA: $13.06 – $13.59/hour
HS Diploma/GED plus two years’ experience: $12.77 – $13.29/hour
HS Diploma/GED no experience: $12.50 – $13.01/hour
