Job Summary/Overview

The Associate Analyst performs day-to-day specialized services for external customers. They apply their moderate knowledge of Payroll expertise to resolve routine customer inquiries by phone queue or email. The Associate Analyst processes transactions of low to mid level complexity. The role is critical to providing an outstanding client experience to TriNet’s customers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyzes the reason behind customer inquiries and uses standard processes and procedures to resolve
  • Creates and processes service order transactions timely and accurately
  • Provides subject matter expertise to support colleagues via dedicated phone queue, SalesForce cases, and email
  • Performs initial research of critical items
  • Follows-up with external customers on outstanding items, providing continuous support and additional information as needed
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, makes recommendations, and partners with team members to implement changes
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

Education

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or vocational training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiar with PeopleSoft and Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal and presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate data
  • Ability to meet customer needs taking ownership for customer happiness and gaining the partnership of others in pursuit of company goals
  • Ability to work independently to resolve issues
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete requests and assignments in a timely manner.

This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: For applicants in the state of Colorado, city of Jersey City, or city of New York the salary range for this role is $47,200.00 to $82,440.00. A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
