Job Summary: Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Associate Systems Engineer is responsible for planning, evaluating, and the administration of the Microsoft server platform, virtual and storage infrastructure, enterprise networking, enterprise email solutions, and Microsoft directory services.

to be an important member of our growing

Job Summary: Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Associate Systems Engineer is responsible for planning, evaluating, and the administration of the Microsoft server platform, virtual and storage infrastructure, enterprise networking, enterprise email solutions, and Microsoft directory services.
Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact
:
- Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
- Operational support of server (virtual & physical), network (router, switch, firewall, load balancer), storage, backup, and Active Directory.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of a new imaging solution.
- Serve as escalation for telephony (VOIP) issues.
- Monitoring, optimizing network performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; perform network optimization.
- Manage Office 365 and Exchange.
- Cloud Experience – Microsoft Azure, O365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Skype).
- Participate and facilitate outage resolution and develop root cause analysis.
- Responsible for researching, piloting, integrating, and implementing new technologies.
- Participate in rotational on-call support schedule.
Qualifications:
Talents you’ll bring to MVP:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 year of related work experience in virtual server environments, enterprise storage, networking, firewalls, enterprise email and instant messaging solutions, application solutions, or Microsoft directory services.
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure support including Windows Server, virtualization, SAN/storage platforms, Active Directory (AD).
- Knowledge of networking support including switches, routers, firewall engines, telephony, and VPN infrastructure across the Enterprise at multiple sites.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Solid technical skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Capability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent client communication skills; demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate, both verbally and in writing, complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Passion for excellence and customer service.
- Value, participate and embrace a team environment and culture.
- Displays flexibility and willingness in performing all other duties as assigned.
