Audiology Assistant Job at Coastal Ear Nose and Throat
· Handling phone calls for the audiology department, including scheduling appointments and basic hearing aid questions, such as warranty questions and costs
· Receive and process incoming hearing aid orders, repairs and supplies. This includes scanning appropriate documentation in patient’s chart, filing information, and storing supplies
· Utilize and input data into the audiology hearing aid tracker, which includes warranties and financial data
· Conduct hearing aid benefit checks for all applicable patients and serve as a liaison to the billing department to ensure accuracy of said checks
· Scheduling VNG test, providing patient with appropriate test instructions and prepping the patient for testing.
· Receive hearing aid drops offs and attribute them to the appropriate provider
· Provide support to the audiologist with scheduling issues and returning phone calls when the audiologist is unable to do so
· Serve as liaison to manufacturers in order to schedule meetings and order supplies
· Tracking department’s open time and provide data to administration
· Assist with scheduling vendor visits, including repairs on department equipment
· Tracking and scheduling PMs and repair orders
· Aid in marketing initiatives
· Equipment maintenance
· Hearing aid repair
