To support Board Administrators for twenty independent regulatory boards through various licensure processes as required by each board's Rules & Regulations and Practice Act.

Application Processing for License, Certificate, and Permit:
- Ensure all application forms are continuously updated with relevant information.
- Verify that all required documents are received and meet requirements in Rules & Regulations.
- Educate and instruct the public on requirements for license, certificate, or permit for several different professions in accordance with the Rules & Regulations for each board.
- Initiate records into the database to reflect correct personal information received from applications.
- Process fingerprint cards for background checks.
- Submit examination eligibility approvals and process examination score reports received.
- Process National Practitioner Data Bank queries for new applicants in accordance with federal law.
- Draft correspondence for mass mailing of renewal notices via regular mail or email, ensuring proper expiration dates and fees are communicated.
- Ensure notices are sent in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of each board.
- Assist licensees with the renewal process, either online or in paper format.
- Update and maintain database and templates to ensure proper notification of approval is being sent to licensees. Ensure appropriate correspondence is disseminated upon renewal approval.
- Assign license numbers, accurately update the database to reflect issue and expiration dates, print wall certificates, pocket identification cards, confirmation letters, and appropriate examination information, and obtain required signatures.
- Respond both verbally and in writing to various inquiries dealing with procedures, policies, licensure requirements, continuing education requirements, renewal requirements, and application status.
- Prepare various items of correspondence for the Administrator's signature and distribute as directed.
- Assist Board Administrators in carrying out the agency's purpose, attend board meetings when needed, and assist with reserving meeting rooms.
- Open, date stamp, and deliver mail daily.
- Verify licensure status to other jurisdictions, state agencies, and third parties.
- Ensure proper fees are collected with verification requests and prepare official verification correspondence.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of applicable computer applications.- Knowledge of records processing and maintenance procedures and systems.
- Knowledge in the preparation of complicated documents.
- Knowledge and understanding of the agency and each respective division/program.
- Knowledge of investigating alleged non-compliance.
- Knowledge of project management.

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.- Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
