The Banquet Server enhances the dining experience for the guest. This position reports to the club’s Banquet and Events Director.

Primary Responsibilities

• Memorize and live by Bobby Jones Links’ Core Purpose and Core Values.
• Know Bobby Jones Links’ 17 Service Standards. These are the rules by which we serve.
• Always have your Bobby Jones Links Associate Card with you. It is part of your uniform.
• Abide by the employment rules in Bobby Jones Links Associate Handbook.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Helps train a team of associates that are fully trained for their jobs and are held accountable for their results.
• Understands the basics of theft, waste, and pricing of food and beverage inventory items.
• Has the ability to complete a daily sales and inventory sheet with accuracy.
• Has the ability to use the point of sales system.
• Ensures the restaurant’s presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation.
• Ensures all members and guests receive the highest level of service.
• Sets up side stations and performs all side-work.
• Provides attention to all guests within one minute of their arrival.
• Fills glasses with ice water, mentions daily specials, and answers any questions a guest may have.
• Places orders with the kitchen.
• Suggests desserts, coffee, or after-dinner drinks.
• Attends all pre-meal meetings conducted by the Food and Beverage Manager or Executive Chef.
• Advises their supervisor of any member complaints.
• Is responsible for cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day’s end.
• Completes the day end close out report through the point of sales.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant at days’ end.
• Follows and implements the management directives, programs, and policies.
• Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards.'

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
